Our founder Gabriella Bastek is a NYC based actress, singer and teaching artist. She has over 9 years of experience as a performing arts teacher and over 3 years of experience as a princess at birthday parties and events. She was born and raised in Riverside, CT and is thrilled to be bringing princess parties and performing arts to her hometown and surrounding areas! She holds a BA in Acting from the University of Texas at Austin where she spent her weekdays teaching musical theater at elementary schools and her weekends as a princess at birthday parties. Upon graduation she moved to Manhattan where she now works as an actress and singer on stage and screen as well as teaches acting classes and singing lessons at elementary schools. She believes deeply in the power of the performing arts to spread joy, confidence and compassion and can not wait to party, act & sing with you and your loved ones.

The mission of Wishing Star is to bring creativity, joy, performing arts and magic to children and their families. We adore bringing beloved characters to life and brightening the days of the birthday princesses and party guests. In our private and group lessons we believe in providing a safe space for creative expression, skill building, self confidence and joy through singing, acting, dancing and improv. Our biggest wish on a star is to bring fun, kindness, courage and love to your parties and lessons!
